Tailor your Conversion Flows to individual users and campaigns.

Updated over 6 months ago

Data properties help businesses tailor their interactions and campaigns to individual users, even when dealing with large volumes of data. Here are the steps to set it up:

Step 1:

In your Workspace, navigate to the left hand side of your screen and select the 'Flows' button, and select the Conversion Flow that you would like to edit.

Step 2:

Select 'Edit flow' in the top right hand corner of your screen. Then, select the 'Codes' tab on the left had side of the edit screen.

Here, you will be able to make unique QR codes for the personalized experience you are trying to create for the people scanning your codes. Simply click 'Add code' and add a name and a description.

For example, let's pretend you want to get personalized feedback for meeting rooms in your office, and you have five meeting rooms with unique QR codes.

Step 4:

All of the QR codes in the example above will be sending people to a unique form where they can share feedback on office rooms.

In order to personalize the QR codes, you must now create properties. This ensures that people who scan your codes are taken to personalized experiences based on the data properties you add for each QR code.

To do this, select 'Data properties' to add custom attributes for the fields you want to personalize. Add a title, description, and property key β€”Β this is an essential step to personalize your Flows.

For this example, we added 'Location' and 'Room'.

Tip πŸ’: You can add as many properties that you need. Properties are flexible fields, and are meant to scale with your use case.

Step 5:

Now that you have configured the properties for your QR codes, you will see these fields when you click on the code in your 'Code details' page.

For this example, we are adding the details for the specific 'Location' and 'Room'

Step 6:

Because every QR code you create will scan to a landing page and form, it's time to customize that experience.

Click the 'Landing page' button on the left side of your screen to begin customizing it. Since we are collecting feedback on office rooms in this example, update the description and primary button text to ask for feedback.

Once complete, click 'Next'.

Step 7:

Now, you can customize the form that your scanners will fill out β€” this is where personalized properties will come into play. Click the '+ Add Field' button and select 'text input'.

Make sure you type in the title of the property you initially configured.

In this example, I'm adding 'Office Location' and Office Room', so I will automatically see which Room and Location people are submitting surveys from.

Tip πŸ’: Select 'Read only' so the field can not be edited by the person scanning filling out the form.

Step 8:

It's time to test the QR codes in your Conversion Flow. On the overview page of your Flow, you can toggle to the code and page you want to test.

Scan the QR code in the preview, and fill out the form experience. The properties you added for each code will be populate in the form.

Step 7:

Watch the personalized data flow in! Head to the 'Results' tab to view form responses in real-time.
