How to set up a Brand Kit

Create a consistent visual identity across all your marketing materials.

Updated this week

A Brand Kit allows you to create a consistent visual identity across all of your codes and pages by defining and storing your brand’s colors, logos, fonts, and other design elements. This ensures uniformity and strengthens brand recognition in all your QR code campaigns.

In this article, we will take you through the steps to set this up:

Note 💭: Only Workspace admins and members can create Brand Kits. To learn about permissions, read this article.

Step 1:

Navigate to a Workspace and select the 'Brand' tab on the left hand side navigation of your screen.

Step 2:

On the top right hand side of your screen, select the ‘Create Brand Kit' button.

Step 3:

Give your Brand Kit a name and a description (optional).

Step 4:

On the next screen you can begin to customize your Brand Kit. There are two options you can choose from:

1a. Pull existing branding from a website, by entering a URL. Don't worry, your Brand Kit can be edited after this step.

1b. Or, customize from scratch and enter your own logos, colors, fonts, and Flowcode QR code design.

  • Logo: Optimal logos will be horizontal or square, have high contrast with a transparent background, are max 500 KB in size, and are in a recommended file type (SVG, PNG or JPG)

  • Colors: You can set your primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. For these you can either enter their HEX codes, or click the color and type in their RGB code

  • Fonts: To upload your font, it must be a OpenType font file thats either .ttf or .otf

2. Set your default code design - this will be the code design defaulted for use when you apply your Brand Kit during Conversion Flow creation. You can customize all aspects of your code:

  • Logo

  • Border and data pattern color

  • Code shape

  • Data pattern

  • Frame border, background, and CTA text color, and frame color. The frame is the container that holds any CTA text around the code

  • A toggle to show/hide Flowcode branding beneath the eye of the code

3. Once complete, click 'Save'.

4. After your Brand Kit is saved, you have the following menu options:

  • Set as the default Brand Kit - when you create a Conversion Flow, this Brand Kit will be applied by default.

  • Make a copy of the Brand Kit

  • Archive - all archived Brand Kits appear in the 'Archived' tab. From there, they can be restored

You're ready to go:

When you create your next Conversion Flow — which is the combination of a QR code (or multiple QR codes) and a mobile-optimized landing page — you will have the option to add your new Brand Kit.

Keep in mind, you can always update your Brand Kit, and you can always create more than one Brand Kit!
