Data Properties are the unique characteristics users can assign to each Flowcode or FlowURL. They define the specific information that helps personalize, distinguish and group codes within a single campaign based on their inherent characteristics.
Leverage the power of Data Properties:
Hyper-personalized Experiences: You can create highly personalized experiences for your consumers by seamlessly integrating your defined data properties. This means you can use the information you've collected about your audience to dynamically adjust content and interactions. For instance, if you're tracking a "Geo" data property that indicates whether a user is in San Francisco (SF) or New York (NY), you can use this information to display a customized welcome message like "Welcome to SF" or "Welcome to NY," making each user's experience feel uniquely tailored to them.
Dynamic Destinations: When combined with other features like Smart Rules, Data Properties empower users to create dynamic and tailored experiences based on those characteristics (e.g., showing a specific promotion based on store location). This facilitates hyper-personalized experiences at an unprecedented scale, allowing dynamic content tailoring for each individual to ensure more relevant interactions that boost engagement and conversions. This powerful synergy also offers efficient, centralized management of vast numbers of customized user journeys.
Impactful Reporting: Data Properties enable users to measure campaign performance based on these unique characteristics (e.g., seeing which product batch or specific location was scanned most). Much like UTM parameters, this provides granular data and deep insights into individual code performance. This capability also streamlines workflows by minimizing the need for duplicate campaigns, saving valuable time.
Step-by-Step
Step 1: Navigate to the Flow Editor.
Step 2: In the Entry Point modal at the start of your flow, you'll notice that Data Properties has its own section. Click onto "Data Properties."
Step 3: Go to the Data Properties tab and click on Add data property.
Step 4: Fill out the form fields and click Add.
Step 5: After clicking Add, you'll notice that your new Data Property is now listed as a field to be filled out when you click on one of your assets.
These data properties allow you to effectively label assets based on the properties of the campaign you care about most. So, in our example we have "Location" defined as a Data Property. This allows me to label my assets with different locations to help organize my efforts.
