You've built your conversion flows, and now it's time to understand how they're performing. Our platform's flow level analytics are designed to be simple and intuitive, providing you with clear insights at a glance. This article breaks down the essential information you can expect to find within the flow view, empowering you to optimize your processes effectively.
Here is a breakdown of the metrics you can measure (read more here):
Visits: The total number of QR code Scans and Short URL Clicks combined.
Unique Visitors: The number of distinct individuals who scanned a QR code or clicked a Short URL at least once.
Module Views: The count of instances where a user successfully loads content after clicking on a module or button on a Flowcode 2 landing page. A View is only recorded when the post-click experience, such as a form, file preview, or external destination, successfully loads. Simply clicking the module does not register a View if the destination fails to load.
Conversions: Conversions represent the number of completed actions, such as form submissions, external link completions, or contact saves, that occur after a Visit and are tracked using the Flowcode Pixel or Flowcode's landing page form capture.
Conversion Rate: The percentage of visits that ultimately result in a desired action, known as a conversion. This metric serves as a key indicator of how effective a landing experience or marketing effort is at motivating users to take a specific step.
Step 1:
First, click into the "Flows" tab using the left-hand navigator. From there, choose a specific Flow that you would like to see the analytics for.
Step 2:
Once you’ve selected a specific Flow, you’ll be taken to a dashboard displaying key performance metrics such as Visits, Conversions, and Conversion Rate, along with visual charts showing "Visits over time" and "Conversions over time".
The "Visits over time" chart highlights the trend of total visits across the selected period, while the Conversions over time chart shows how consumer interactions lead to conversions over that same timeframe. You can also break down total visits by entry point type to gain deeper insight into where your traffic is coming from.
Note: This dashboard includes a collapsable preview of your Flowcode and Conversion Flow. Click the arrow on the top right corner of the screen to open the preview drawer on the right hand side.
Step 3:
As you scroll down you will continue to see more granular insights like what entrypoints performed better in terms of Visits, Module Views, Conversions and Total Conversion Rate.
Note: This chart only appears if you have multiple entrypoints leading to the conversion flow. If there is no entrypoint activity, the chart will indicate "No Data".
Step 4:
Scrolling down a bit further, you can see what modules on your conversion flow performed best.
Note: This chart only appears if you have modules on your conversion flow page. If there is no module activity, the chart will indicate "No Data".
Step 5:
As you continue to scroll, you will see a breakdown of how well the data properties applied to that conversion flow performed. Remember to filter for the right data property on the right hand side.
Note: This chart only appears if there are one or multiple data properties AND if the data properties have a visit. The table does not appear until there is activity.
Step 6:
Scroll down and you will see a chart that provides traffic breakdown by day and time
Step 7:
The bottom of your dashboard features a heatmap showing granular geographic engagement, down to the individual zip code level, providing the necessary data to understand where the hotspots of your campaign live.
Flow-level analytics give you a clear view of how each part of your conversion flow performs. By tracking visits, conversions, and engagement across modules and entrypoints, you can quickly identify what’s working and where to optimize. With Flowcode’s flow-level insights, you have the data you need to refine performance and drive stronger results all from one intuitive dashboard.
