How to Organize Your Assets in Workspaces for Flowcode 2: Tags

Tagging helps you streamline workflows and ensures easy retrieval of assets.

What are Tags?
Tags act as labels that you can attach to your Conversion Flows, making it easier to group, filter, and find related assets. Tags can be used across different workspaces, offering flexibility in how you organize your content.

How do Tags work?
You can assign multiple tags to each Conversion Flow, such as "Events," "Marketing," or "Promo." This allows you to categorize your assets even if they are spread across different folders or workspaces.

Why Use Tags?
Tags allow for quick filtering and grouping of related Conversion Flows, providing an efficient way to manage assets across various projects or teams.

Effective tagging and organization within a Flowcode Workspace enable you to categorize and manage your assets efficiently. This practice helps streamline workflows, improve collaboration, and ensure easy retrieval of assets.

How to Add or Create New Tags

  1. Navigate to the Conversion Flowโ€™s settings or details page.

  2. Locate the Tags section.

  3. Type the name of the tag you want to add.

    • If the tag is new, click Create tag to add it to the list

Follows these steps to add tags to your Flowcode assets:

Step 1:

In your Workspace, navigate to the left hand side of your screen and select the 'Flows' button.


Step 2:

In your Conversion Flow dashboard there are are unique rows for all of the different Flows you have created. In every row, there is a section that shows 'TAGS'.

Note ๐Ÿ“: You will only see rows populated with information if you have created a Conversion Flow.


Step 3:

Select one of the Flows in your dashboard. On the top left hand side of your screen you will see a purple icon with a '+' sign in it. Select that to add a tag.

Step 4:

Start typing to create a new tag name, or add an existing tag that you have already created. Once you have chosen, select 'Apply' on the screen, or hit 'Return/Enter' on your keyboard.

Now, your tag has been added.


Step 5: Filter for tags

Back in your Conversion Flow dashboard, you will now see the tag applied to your Flow.


To filter for Flows with the same tag, simply select one tag from any row. Once selected, that tag will be present at the top of your screen. Any Flows with the same tag will populate in your dashboard.

Add multiple tags to a specific Conversion Flow. Additionally, filter Flows in your dashboard using multiple tags to refine your search.


Step 6: Global search

After adding tags to your Conversion Flows, you can globally search for assets based on tags. By clicking on the search bar in the top right hand side of your screen, you can find any asset with a relevant tag.


Healthy tagging and consistent naming of your assets can set up your workspace to be organized, and always be able to discover content.
