Geo Analytics lets you visualize where your QR codes are being scanned across the United States, providing insights to optimize your marketing efforts and improve conversions. View the geographic spread of your audience at the nation-wide scale and down to the granular zip-code level. With real-time data updates, every time someone scans one of your QR codes you'll see it populate on your map.
Now, with expanded international geo data coverage, you can unlock these same insights globally. Our platform leverages anonymized IP intelligence to provide accurate, privacy-compliant location data across virtually every country. This empowers you to understand and engage your audience no matter where in the world they scan.

Understanding the precision of reporting data
When viewing your Geo Analytics data, there are two levels of granularity available for you to access.
General Geo Analytics
Advanced Geo Analytics
Let's break those down below.
General Geo Analytics: This is the default option for every account, and shows general location of the scans you receive.
Note — This form of geolocation utilized cell network positioning and is accurate within 50-100+ meters. Known factors that affect accuracy include: use of VPNs, proxy servers, mobile IP addresses, and scanning in a rural area. There is an estimated 70% accuracy — an industry standard — with this method.
Advanced Geo Analytics: This must be toggled on in your account, and show the precise location of the scans you receive.
Note — Precise scans utilize mobile device GPS and allow for accuracy within 5-10ft. Scanners must consent to location sharing, otherwise the scan is registered as a general area scan. There is an estimated 95%+ accuracy with this method.
Follow these steps to turn on Advanced Geo Analytics:
Note 📝 Advanced Geo Analytics can only be toggled on within a specific Conversion Flow, and not on a Workspace level.
Step 1:
In your Workspace, navigate to the 'Flows' button the on left hand side of your navigation.
Step 2:
Select an existing Conversion Flow, or create a new one from scratch.
Step 3:
At the top of your screen, select the 'Settings' tab.
Step 4:
Go to the analytics section on the page, and toggle on 'Advanced geo'.
Step 5:
Once you click 'Update', your Advanced Geo Analytics will be toggled on. When people scan your QR codes, they will be required to opt-into sharing their location. For example, scanners using Safari on iOS will see this interstitial before being redirected to the destination:

International Geo Data FAQs
Which customers are covered in the international geo data?
Our geo data provider provides comprehensive global coverage, encompassing 99%+ of all routable IP addresses worldwide. This extensive reach ensures that virtually every country is included in the dataset, allowing for geolocation capabilities across the globe.
How accurate and granular is the geo data outside the U.S.?
Our geo data provider maintains high accuracy levels internationally:
Country-level accuracy: 99%+
City-level accuracy: 97%+
Region-level accuracy: 98%
Can we collect FlowID data internationally?
Partially. FlowID functionality varies based on whether the user submits contact information:
If the user submits a contact form (e.g. on our landing pages or via a pixel), their data will appear in the Audience tab, and they will be classified as a known user. If you click into a known user's activity log, you will not see scan events that occurred without a corresponding form submission.
If the user does not submit a form (e.g. scans a QR code that redirects to an external URL), they will not appear in the Audience tab, the ‘Anonymous’ user count will not increase, and their scans will not be counted toward engagement stats like Champions, Enthusiasts, or Window Shoppers.
