Installing the Flowcode Conversion Pixel for Shopify allows you to connect your Flowcode scan data with your store’s purchase activity. This provides a more complete view of the customer journey, helping you see when a scan leads to a conversion on your Shopify site, even after the customer has moved on from the initial Flowcode landing page.
By following the steps below, you can attribute Shopify sales back to specific Flowcode assets.

Closing the Attribution Loop
Once active, the pixel bridges your offline and online data by capturing the following details from your Shopify checkout:
Category | Data Captured |
Transaction Info | Transaction ID, Total, Item Quantity, Currency Code |
Customer Info | Email, First Name, Last Name |
This allows you to calculate true ROAS for physical assets like billboards, mailers, and in-store displays that were previously "dark" channels.
Pro-Tips for Success
Status Check: Ensure the pixel status shows Connected in green. Data will not flow if the pixel is in "Draft" mode.
Sandbox Privacy: Shopify runs this pixel in a secure sandbox, meaning it tracks conversions accurately without compromising your site's speed or customer privacy.
Verify Your Data: We recommend performing a test scan and purchase to see the "Scan-to-Sale" journey appear in your Flowcode Analytics dashboard.
Enter test mode
Copy and paste the flow’s shortURL in the browser then make a purchase.
Upon making a purchase, you should see a checkout_completed event with a green circle next to it, like this:
