This guide will walk you through connecting your Shopify store to Flowcode, creating Conversion Flows for your product catalog, testing the setup, and uninstalling the app if necessary.
1. Connecting Shopify to Flowcode
Navigate to Application Settings
Go to the Flowcode app settings page in Shopify (URL format: https://admin.shopify.com/store/{YOUR_STORE_NAME}/apps/flowcode/app)
Click Connect in the connection component
Log in to Flowcode
A new window will open for Flowcode login. Enter your Flowcode username and password
After login, the window will close automatically
Confirm Connection
In the Shopify admin, check that your Flowcode account shows Account connected, displaying your avatar and email
Verify Connection in Flowcode
In Flowcode, go to Organization Admin > Integrations
Confirm that your Shopify store is now listed under integrations
2. Creating a Conversion Flow
Start a New Conversion Flow
In Flowcode, open a workspace and start creating a new Conversion Flow
Choose the Commerce use case and select Product Purchase
Template and Marketplace Selection
Click Preview and select Use this template
Ensure your Shopify store is listed as a selectable marketplace. Select your Shopify store and click Next
Select a Product
Browse your product catalog in Flowcode and choose a product to feature in your flow. Click Next
Complete Setup in Flow Editor
The Flow Editor will open. Proceed through the steps, and click Save and exit to finalize your setup
3. Testing the Conversion Flow
Access the Flow Overview
Open the conversion flow’s overview page in Flowcode
Test the Flow
Scan the QR code, select Purchase, and then Checkout
If prompted, enter the store password and rescan the QR code
Complete Test Purchase
Fill out the purchase form and use the test card number 4242 4242 4242 4242 (other details can be fictitious, but use a valid email to receive confirmation)
Confirm the Thank you page displays and check your email for the order summary
Verify Analytics
In Flowcode, ensure that the Purchases counter, Revenue, and Conversion Rate reflect the test purchase
4. Uninstalling Flowcode from Shopify
Go to Shopify Admin
Select Apps and Sales Channels in your Shopify settings.
Locate Flowcode STG and uninstall the app.
Confirm in Flowcode
In Flowcode, check Organization Admin > Integrations to ensure your Shopify store is no longer listed.
This setup enables you to seamlessly integrate your Shopify store with Flowcode, simplifying the creation and tracking of conversion flows directly linked to your product catalog.
