Updated over a month ago

This feature is in Beta, which means we're still working on improving it's core functionality. See Gaps and Limitations to learn more, and reach out if you're interested in utilizing Bulk Code Creation.

1. Click on “Add Code” dropdown

2. Click on Many Codes

3. Click on Click to upload a CSV…

4. Select your CSV from file upload menu

5. Select Entrypoint Name

  1. This will be the name of the Code and must be unique within the CSV

  2. On upload, the column headings (first row) will be mapped to data properties

  3. If the column headings is the same as an existing data property, we will pre-select “existing data property” and map the column

6. Click on Import codes

7. View Estimated Creation Time

File Type & Structure

  1. Any CSV file can be used to bulk import

  2. On upload, the column headings (first row) will be mapped to data properties

  3. If the column headings is the same as an existing data property, we will pre-select “existing data property” and map the column

  4. There is no pre-defined field for a destination URL

    1. Rather, once a data property has been created, the data property can be set as the destination URL in the UI

Batch Updates

  1. Uploading a CSV where the value for the column being used to set code name matches an existing code will update the data properties to be whatever is set in the latest CSV upload

  2. This will overwrite any existing values for those data properties

  3. New data properties will be added to the existing code and the existing data properties will remain unchanged

Gaps and Limitations for Internal/Limited Beta Launch

  1. No notification when the bulk import is completed

  2. No summary of the results of the import

    1. How many codes were created

    2. Which rows failed

  3. No total count of codes in a Flow in UI or API

  4. Limit initial use to 1-100 codes unless solutions Engineering or Product is provide support on job status
