Bulk Functions available in the platform:
Bulk editing: Users can move and delete multiple codes at once
Bulk actions work on all codes, even if they're in a folder
Bulk uploads: While creating a Flowcode, you have the option to create a single code or bulk upload many codes:
Bulk Editing
In the My Flowcodes section of your account, you are able to select multiple codes at a time to delete or move into folders.
To select multiple codes, click the boxes to the left of the codes you would like to group and select Move or Delete.
Bulk Uploading
The bulk upload feature will prompt you to download a CSV file.
Note as an Enterprise user, you have the ability to bulk upload up to 1,000 codes at one time.
Download the template.
The template will download to your computer as "create_many_flowcodes_template.csv."
You can open the template in the spreadsheet application of your choice (Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers).
Within the templage, you will see two columns labeled Flowcode Name and Flowcode Scan URL.
Flowcode Name corresponds to how your Flowcode will be labeled in your dashboard
Flowcode Scan URL is the website the end user will be brought to upon scanning the Flowcode (scan desitination)
*note* Before you re-upload the template, please ensure you have not added or deleted any rows/columns
*note* At this time, bulk creation only supports URLs and not scanning to a file destination (e.g. PDF, .jpeg, .png)
If you want your Flowcode to redirect to an email address or phone number, you can do that by creating a click-to-email link or click-to-call link (ex: mailto:[email protected]).
Once this is completed, export your spreadsheet as a .csv file.
If using Google Sheets, you can do this by clicking File -> Download -> Comma Separated-Values (csv). Upload your file into the dashboard via the Upload prompt pictured below.
Our system will check to ensure each Flowcode Name has a corresponding Flowcode Scan URL.
If an error is detected, you will be prompted to update your CSV and re-upload it.
Choose a batch name for the upload. This will become the name of the folder where all of your uploaded codes will live in the Flowcodes section of the platform. They will be grouped under in the "My Codes" section of your Dashboard.
Follow the design prompts to customize the appearance of your Flowcodes, if you've already created a template you will have the option to use it.
If you like the design you create here, you can save it for use as a future template.
*note* the design you choose will be applied to all the Flowcodes you are generating in this batch.
Once you click Create my Flowcodes, you will be brought to your newly created folder to view and download all of your Flowcodes, either individually or as a folder.
If you bulk create, a folder will automatically generate for the bulk order in your account.
